Zombie's Retreat 1 - XL Update | Now Available!

Zombie's Retreat 1 has been updated to v2.0, also known as the XL update and is available now to play here on itch!

If you've already purchased ZR1 previously on itch, you should not need to purchase it again and can instead download the new 2.0 update for free!
== Zombies Retreat 1 XL ==
This update to ZR1 increases the game's resolution to match Zombie's Retreat 2! All NSFW scenes were manually rescaled to avoid any quality loss. Additionally, Leslie's first NSFW as well as Rachel's first NSFW scene have been completely redrawn! Lastly, some other scenes were reanimated as well for a refreshed look.
There have been some other small tweaks to cutscenes or dialogue in various places but for the most part, it is the same game with some visual enhancements!
Save files are also compatible with previous versions! There will be a few hiccups with the HUD adjusting but that should get auto corrected when you step out of your homebase or when you explore.
== $10/$15+ Patron Rewards ==
The Art/Animation bundle on itch has been updated but additionally, the new 2.0 rewards are available for all $10/$15+ ZR2 Patrons!

Contains download links of all the major scenes & CG for ZR2 in their original resolution (.jpg format) to view outside of the game.
$15+ tier:
Contains download links of all the major scenes ANIMATED in their original resolution (.mp4 format).

can you add pregnancy to the game?
the windows version of the game constantly crashes when trying to do a story/character quest when doing Ashley pool scene it will freeze but it will still make sounds like I can move still. Also this has happened when doing Caroline quest as well when fighting the boss.

Love this game, but the update isnt available on mac? Is there a plan for it to be on mac?
The Mac update has become quite outdated so I chose to remove it indefinitely. Didn't feel right offering such a old version.
Unfortunately I don't think I'll be revisiting it. The engine is no longer supported on Mac and was a bit problematic to release initially. I do believe there are still fairly accessible methods of emulating the PC version on Mac, however!

For the sake of argument. Befire the game came out, they did say it would be free on release. So going back on that does leave a bad taste. But yeah, I've since got over that and the onky reason i haven't bought the game is because of procrastination
