Hey everyone!

First, I want to say thank you all so much for supporting House Chores and continuing to support it even though I've been very quiet on the progress of it!  I've been updating the Patreon page every so often over the past couple months but I've been neglecting the itch crowd so let me fill you guys in!

The game was in a rough state this past fall sort of in a limbo on if it could continue due to a number of reasons.  However, I've been working through all of those things trying to get stuff sorted out and progress is being made behind the scenes once again!

The biggest change, is that the engine of the game will be swapping from Visual Novel Maker to RPGMaker MV.  This helps for a number of reasons.  Despite the change, my goal is to create sort of an RPG/Visual Novel hybrid so fans of either genre should hopefully still find something in House Chores!

Due to the lack of a need for backgrounds, this has relieved a lot of stress on the artist and he's been able to slowly start working on some new upcoming stuff!

I'm hoping to have the first beta update out either late this month or in February.  Thank you all so much for your patience!  I hope to see you very soon with a new playable demo <3
